Map Project

~

When I worked at the Garnet Hill Outdoor Center, which featured cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking, we primarily used this map,

which is of excellent quality, but was 25 years old at the time I worked there, with many elements out of date. We also used the following two maps for mountain biking and snowshoeing, respectively.

Both of these maps are certainly readable, but they are all of completely different styles, and don't read well next to each other, despite covering mostly the same area. Notably, the snowshoe map was actually just an even older version of the mountain biking map.

The ski map had formerly been printed on 12"x24" paper, but the decision was made to get it printed on standard letter paper instead, so I remade it, using data from openstreetmap.org, and then proceeded to make matching versions of the mountain biking and snowshoeing maps as well.
